The Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is 45 min from Los Almendros.
Sayulita is 26 miles northwest of the PV airport. Airport taxis will be about 900 pesos (about US$85) for a family of four or five, and large vans or suburbans are available for larger groups. The airport has a number of car rentals, including AVIS, Hertz, National, Alamo and Budget. If renting a car, make your reservation before you come.
If you would like us to arrange a private transportation service from Airport to Los Alemndros we work with Sayulita VIP Transportation which may fit families or groups of up to eight with luggage. Their driver will pick you up at the airport make a stop at any large super market on the way to Sayulita so you can buy your weekly groceries (optional) and leave you at the door of LOS ALMENDROS. On the day of your departure they will pick you up at
Los Almendros and take you back to the airport. They charge $140 dlls ROUND TRIP for service (not per person) They are also available for day trips to other towns or beaches during your stay or any other transportation needs.
To book this yo may use the Transportation ADD ON at the time you make your reservation or email us your itinerary (or the itinerary of the last person to arrive from your group)
The service is paid for in CASH (US preferably) upon arrival to the driver himself.
If you use a PV airport taxi, be sure to bring the map of town, so you can point to our complex.
If driving to Sayulita, when exiting the airport follow the signs to Compostela. Continue on the four lane
highway #200 through Bucerias. Do NOT take the Punta de Mita exit, rather stay on #200 which then becomes two lanes. In about 10km you see the Sayulita sign, and turn left toward town.
Make a left turn off the highway at the SAYULITA signs, then in just over 100 meters the road splits, and you VEER RIGHT there (left goes toward Punta de Mita), which is onto Avenida Revolucion.
Continue for about 1km and as you enter town you see a health clinic labeled SALUD on your left, then you take the very first right (if you reach the bridge over the river, you have gone 2 blocks too far, so turn around) onto Miramar, though again no street signs, then take the second right again onto Palmar, which is the last street before the beach.
Then take right on Calle Chiripa right after the elementary school. Los Almendros will be 1 1/2 blocks un the left side.
We are at the corner of Calle Chiripa and Calle Figueroa
