Encantadora at Los Almendros in Sayulita, Mexico is a charming and fully equipped vacation rental, part of the fabulous Los Almendros complex. Only minutes from the beach, it is an easy, level 10-minute stroll to the vibrant heart of the village with wonderful restaurants, shops and boutiques.
This elegant complex features 26 private condos in five three-story buildings clustered around Sayulita's most beautiful heated pool. Encantadora offers a real taste of Mexico with bright colors, custom artwork and the best in Mexican finish and design. Child-friendly, comfortable and practical, Encantadora is situated on the first floor of the building nearest the ocean and is a one-stop elevator ride up from the complex's only garage -- ideal for luggage and groceries!
Encantadora has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and a twin, and an attractive balcony with a BBQ, the perfect place to catch the morning sun. The second bedroom has two twins; the twins can be turned into another king-size. Recently added is a folding pack 'n play crib. Both bedrooms have ample closet space, lots of drawers, and their own attractive full bathrooms with double basins.
The kitchen is fully equipped with purified water, fridge, gas stove, microwave, blender, coffee-maker, toaster, electric kettle, all kitchen utensils and washer and dryer. Everything you could want for your stay. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout.
The spacious living-dining area features two sofas, two armchairs, coffee tables and dining room table with six chairs. There's an iPod docking station, DVD player, SMART TV, and private wireless Fiber Optic Internet connection. The front balcony, with a palapa fringe and view of the pool, is furnished with traditional Mexican equipale loveseat, table and chairs -- ideal for relaxing any time of day but especially on those warm, starlit Mexican evenings.
At the centre of the Los Almendros complex is the crown jewel -- one of the most beautiful pool areas you can imagine. The remarkable pool, recently enhanced further by the installation of a heater/cooler system, has been designed to accommodate all needs and ages and includes a jacuzzi-type section as well as two areas for small children. Surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs, the area also features a shady palapa section and barbecue.
The office staff is available throughout the day, and there is a security guard on duty all night. The condo provides a safe for valuables, and maid service is available every other day except on Sunday and some holidays.

The condo complex is nice and small and the people that run the place are all very nice. There is a security person at night too. The beach is very close and it is beautiful, lots of beach bars to hang out at or rent a chair and an umbrella for as long as you like. Finally I found Villa Bella Vida, but still our fingers were crossed as we showed up for our week long stay. I can not express how HAPPY we were when we walked threw the front gate! Beautiful very well maintained grounds with fantastic pool and lounging area. The condo was perfect, very tidy with great kitchen and a deck where we spent many many hours overlooking the pool and jungle. This really is the perfect place for families. The pool is ideal for little ones of all ages and levels of swimming. The location of the condo was also perfect for us as we ended up being in Sayulita for one of the busiest times of year! The streets and beaches packed out half way threw our visit but you would never know the craziness was taking place if you just stayed at the condo. Perfectly situated just far enough away from the main square but still only a short walk to both it and the beach. We loved this place! We had this 2 bedroom, 2 bath and shared it with our daughter and son-in-law. The entire place was set up for as much privacy as you wanted if you wanted it. The unit can actually sleep seven people (if you have a large family). There was nothing lacking, including in the kitchen. The housekeeper came in daily and did an excellent job in maintaining the unit. This was a great option for us. The pool is terrific for young kids and we used it every day. The apartment was pretty well child-proof, so we didn't worry about breaking anything or kids getting hurt. The daily maid service was great, they even washed and folded our clothes. The staff of the complex was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations on places to visit, eat, shop, etc. Plenty close to the beach for our needs, though the nicer swimming was closer to town and especially in the Los Muertos beach. Marie Fray was easy to deal with and helpful by email. We would stay here again. The home is huge, and the balconies (all FOUR) look out into this huge tree that was home to giant gorgeous iguanas. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with appliances. The housekeeping is such a treat and combined the front reception, achieves the best parts of a hotel and AirBnB. The location is my favorite part, a quick walk to the best fish tacos (el jackal), sunset beach dining with the freshest seafood (terrazola), and hands down the best yoga and massages next door (hotelito los suenos). All condos here require at least one flight of stairs, starting on level 1 up to level 3. If you like a good shower head, she's got one! I would highly recommend Los Almendros and Lynne's place. El departamento es súper grande, estaba muy limpio y nos sorprendió que todas las recámaras tuvieran balcón. Lo mejor es el balcón principal que tiene una gran mesa (en la que desayunamos todos los días) que da hacia el área de la alberca. Las áreas comunes están en excelente estado y la seguridad del edificio es permanente, los guardias de seguridad siempre están al pendiente. La ubicación es muy buena porque está cerca del centro de Sayulita pero tiene una playa a tres cuadras con menos personas que la del centro. Mi única recomendación sería que el hospedaje se llamara "Los Almendros" (que es el nombre del condominio) y no sólo "Villa Tranquila" (que es el nombre del departamento en específico).
