Beautiful condo, great location
The stay at Bella Vida Los Almendros Condo was wonderful! The condo is in beautiful condition, well-stocked, secure and quiet. The pool is amazing, it is hard to tear yourself away from it. The pool area has lots of lounge chairs, umbrellas, bar fridge for your cervezas, bathrooms, a community BBQ and beach towels. The condo complex is nice and small and the people that run the place are all very nice. There is a security person at night too. The beach is very close and it is beautiful, lots of beach bars to hang out at or rent a chair and an umbrella for as long as you like. Sayulita has a lot to offer in terms of shops and restaurants, it is a nice little town.

Great pool for kids!
My husband and I spent 9 days here with our 18 month old son. We had a fabulous time. The pool was ideal for small children. The condo was lovely - beautiful balcony, lots of room! The location was perfect - super quiet, 3 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to the heart of sayulita. We will def be back.

wonderful family vacation
Our family of 5 spent a week at this beautiful condo complex in February. The grounds are very well maintained and the condo was super clean. Besides the convenience of daily maid service, fresh baked goods were offered to us by a Mexican lady who came door to door. Marie and David were very helpful with arranging our stay and the property manager even stayed longer to greet us at the complex when our plane was delayed. I would definitely stay at this condo again.

Lovely place to stay
It was perfect for our combined families (two couples and one adult child).
Close enough to town to walk, but quiet enough in the evenings to enjoy the surrounding area.
We woke up to birds in the morning, had a swim in the afternoon (the pool is beautiful), and then walked into town for shopping and dinner.
The staff is friendly and the condo itself is lovely.

Perfect place for families
I spent what seamed like forever trying to find the right place for my husband, myself, our 4 and 22month old and my two parents. Finally I found Villa Bella Vida, but still our fingers were crossed as we showed up for our week long stay. I can not express how HAPPY we were when we walked threw the front gate! Beautiful very well maintained grounds with fantastic pool and lounging area. The condo was perfect, very tidy with great kitchen and a deck where we spent many many hours overlooking the pool and jungle. This really is the perfect place for families. The pool is ideal for little ones of all ages and levels of swimming. The location of the condo was also perfect for us as we ended up being in Sayulita for one of the busiest times of year! The streets and beaches packed out half way threw our visit but you would never know the craziness was taking place if you just stayed at the condo. Perfectly situated just far enough away from the main square but still only a short walk to both it and the beach. We loved this place! We kept saying that threw our whole stay here!

Our Xmas week at Villa Bella Vida
Our accommodations were exceptional. We had this 2 bedroom, 2 bath and shared it with our daughter and son-in-law. The entire place was set up for as much privacy as you wanted if you wanted it. The unit can actually sleep seven people (if you have a large family). There was nothing lacking, including in the kitchen. The housekeeper came in daily and did an excellent job in maintaining the unit. More than likely we will be visiting Sayulita in the future and would hope to stay in Bella Vida again.

We had a wonderful time staying here
We stayed here for a week in late October, as a family with two toddlers. This was a great option for us. The pool is terrific for young kids and we used it every day. The apartment was pretty well child-proof, so we didn't worry about breaking anything or kids getting hurt. The daily maid service was great, they even washed and folded our clothes. The staff of the complex was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations on places to visit, eat, shop, etc. Plenty close to the beach for our needs, though the nicer swimming was closer to town and especially in the Los Muertos beach. Marie Fray was easy to deal with and helpful by email. We would stay here again.

KellyFebruary 2018 Look no farther, this rental is PERFECT! We originally were staying in central Sayulita and hated it. It was noisy, kept us up all night and stinky! North Sayulita ended up being our favorite. There's still a lot going on but it's quiet, chill and hip feeling (also the beach in this area is way less hectic and less crowded). The condo itself is a dream! Beautifully decorated, clean (daily maid service), there's nothing I would change about the place. We ended up loving just relaxing and hanging out in the condo because it felt so serene. The location was perfect, no hills and walkable to a lot but still a quiet neighborhood. I thought I really wanted a stand alone house but this condo proved to be better. The pool was way bigger than any stand alone house and you can't beat having maid service and a receptionist if you need help! Although there's no ocean view the view out the front patio was beautiful!! One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two twins (which can be made up as a king). The two bathrooms are quite nice - lovely tile work and dual hand painted basins in each. There is an outdoor terrace overlooking the gorgeous pool and beautifully maintained grounds. The villa is fully air conditioned, though we didn't need to use the AC while we were there. The ceiling fans in each room were sufficient to keep the unit very comfortable. There is daily maid service, except on Sunday. Wifi and cable TV are included. It is an easy five-minute walk to the nearest beach on the north end of town (much nicer than the more crowded town beach), and it is a 10 minute walk into town. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the company of other guests. The place felt safe and always had security present. JonJune 2017 This condo worked great for our family for our recent trip to Sayulita. It's located just north of downtown Sayulita about a 10 min walk to the center of the town. You can walk to the beach in about 5 min. The condo itself is very spacious with comfortable beds, a good layout and a great outdoor living area overlooking the pool. This was great so we could be upstairs and keep an eye on the kids down in the pool. We would definitely recommend this place to others with or without kids. There seemed to be a good mix of families and couples staying in the 26 or so units that make up the complex. HollyJune 2017 This condo is very well appointed and has nice touches. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were quite comfortable. We loved the big patio for relaxing. The location is NOT in the noisy part of town - but still an easy (flat) walk to the heart of Sayulita - maybe 5 or 7 minutes. There are also many restaurants and bars closer than that, and a little more tranquil since they're not on the main streets. The daily housekeeping was also a big bonus! As was the air conditioning. For anyone who decides to rent this unit - congratulations! One small word of advice: the fridge gets really cold, like freeze your food cold, so make sure you turn it down to 3/4 when you arrive. The streets and beaches packed out half way threw our visit but you would never know the craziness was taking place if you just stayed at the condo. The housekeeper came in daily and did an excellent job in maintaining the unit. This was a great option for us. The pool is terrific for young kids and we used it every day. The location is my favorite part, a quick walk to the best fish tacos (el jackal), sunset beach dining with the freshest seafood (terrazola), and hands down the best yoga and massages next door (hotelito los suenos). If you want to know how big the waves are you'll need to go see for yourself. This was a great place that was clean and safe and close to town. there was no hill to get there, so a golf cart was not necessary. TyeMarch 2018Lynne's place was spacious, clean, and very convenient being on the 1st level -- with a baby having to go up one flight of stairs is ideal. All condos here require at least one flight of stairs, starting on level 1 up to level 3. If you like a good shower head, she's got one! I would highly recommend Los Almendros and Lynne's place. El departamento es súper grande, estaba muy limpio y nos sorprendió que todas las recámaras tuvieran balcón. Lo mejor es el balcón principal que tiene una gran mesa (en la que desayunamos todos los días) que da hacia el área de la alberca. Las áreas comunes están en excelente estado y la seguridad del edificio es permanente, los guardias de seguridad siempre están al pendiente. La ubicación es muy buena porque está cerca del centro de Sayulita pero tiene una playa a tres cuadras con menos personas que la del centro. Mi única recomendación sería que el hospedaje se llamara "Los Almendros" (que es el nombre del condominio) y no sólo "Villa Tranquila" (que es el nombre del departamento en específico).
